On Saturday morning just after 9:30, Aug. 29, Pettis County deputies and Pettis County Fire responded to Lone Pine Acres Park, 1305 E. Boonville, lot 1308 for a trailer fire. One was destroyed and two others sustained heavy damage. There were no injuries reported. Also responding to the scene after a mutual aid request was sent out, were Smithton, Otterville and Sedalia Fire.

On Saturday, Aug. 29 John Petty of Sedalia reported that someone stole a 2012 John Deere 4x4 Gator from the front of his home on Highway M.


 

On Saturday, Aug. 29 around 2:50 a.m., Pettis County deputies responded to the 1000 block of East Lane in La Monte, on a physical domestic dispute no longer in progress. Charges were submitted to the Pettis County prosecutor's Office.


 

On Saturday around 2:35 a.m., Aug. 29, Pettis County deputies conducted a traffic stop at 2nd and Missouri (Liquor Locker) on a vehicle being operated on a careless and imprudent manner. The driver, Gabino Alexis Maldonado of Sedalia, was arrested on four Municipal warrants, as well as driving while revoked or suspended.


 

On Saturday, Aug. 29, Pettis County deputies responded to the 25000 block of Trickum Road in Houstonia on a domestic disturbance in progress. Kennith Wood was arrested for 4th degree Domestic Assault and transported to the Pettis County Jail.


 

On Friday evening, Aug,. 28, Pettis County Fire and Pettis County deputies responded to a structure fire involving a detached garage in the 2100 block of Saline. No injuries were reported.


 

On Thursday, Aug. 27, Pettis County deputies responded to a physical domestic no longer in progress in the 400 block of East Green in Smithton. Formal charges were submitted to the Petis County Prosecutor's Office.

On Thursday, Aug. 27, Leo Sena reported to the Pettis County Sheriff's Office that two Stihl Model 025 saws were stolen from his property in the 27000 block of Florence Road within the last two days. One saw had a 16-inch bar and the other had a 20-inch bar.


 

On Aug. 27, Pettis County deputies took a report in the 1000 block of McVey Road involving the loss of livestock by two dogs. A very large and aggressive tan dog was put down when it charged the owner of the livestock. Another black dog was very friendly. He was put on a lead and was taken to the local shelter.
