Pettis County Sheriff’s Reports for April 7, 2021

On Tuesday, April 6, Pettis County Deputies conducted a traffic stop on a silver Honda Accord at 28th and Marshall for a traffic violation.  The driver, identified as Jason William Smith, was found to have an active parole warrant out of the state of Kansas. Smith was taken into custody and transported to the Pettis County Jail, where he was placed on a 24-hour hold with a request to the prosecutor for an out-of-state Fugitive From Justice warrant.

On April 3, just after 4 p.m., a reporting person entered the Pettis County Sheriff's Office and said that someone opened accounts in his name.
