Monday morning, Deputies with the Pettis County Sheriff's Office arrested Quinton Gano, 40, in the 4500 block of US 65 Highway. Gano had several outstanding felony Failure to Appear warrants on charges consisting of: Delivery or Manufacture of a Controlled Substance, three counts of Possession of a Controlled Substance, Driving While Revoked, and Operating a Vehicle On The Highway Without a Valid License.


 

Deputies took a report of stealing from the 21000 block of Sacajawea Road in Sedalia Monday morning. Two propane tanks valued at $112.00 each were stolen from the property.


 

On the night of April 2nd, Deputies were on patrol in the area of Westbound 50 Highway and Pleasant Green Road. A traffic stop was conducted on a silver colored Volkswagen for defective headlights. A passenger in the vehicle was arrested for an active felony warrant through Independence. The passenger, who was not named in the report, was transported to the Pettis County Jail and booked on the warrant. Bond was set at $5,000 cash or 10%.


 

The Pettis County K9 Unit conducted a traffic stop in the area of East 16th Street and Lafayette Avenue last Thursday night. The driver of the vehicle was arrested for an outstanding Failure to Appear warrant on original charges of Speeding. Andrew J. Tilley of Sedalia was arrested pending a $153 cash only bond.


 

Deputies conducted a traffic stop in the area of East 16th Street and Thompson Avenue for a registration violation last Friday morning. One occupant in the vehicle, Jose Ortega, 43, of Sedalia, was placed under arrest for a Pettis County warrant for Receiving Stolen Property. A second occupant of the vehicle, Joshua Quick, 31, of Sedalia, was arrested for Unlawful Possession of Drug Paraphernalia. Both Ortega and Quick were transported to the Pettis County Jail. Quick was booked and released pending formal charges. Ortega was held with no bond.


 

Pettis County Deputies responded to the 25000 block of Highway 135 in Pettis County, in reference to property damage last Friday morning. At the time of the report, the suspect has been identified and charges are pending.


 

Thursday evening, Deputies took a report of property damage and trespassing from the 22000 block of Houston Road. The investigation continues.


 

On the morning of March 29th, the Pettis County Sheriff's Office took a report about a stolen 2019 Eagle Trailer. The trailer was stolen from the area of West Country Club and James Lane. The trailer is described as an 18 foot trailer, gray in color, with black wheels. If anyone has any information regarding the trailer, please contact the Pettis County Sheriff's Office or the Pettis County Joint Communication.
