The Pettis County Health Center Board of Trustees has hired Malinda Nevils, BSN, RN as the new administrator of the Pettis County Health Center effective Saturday, March 4.

Mrs. Nevils replaces JoAnn Martin who retired as Administrator in December.

Mrs. Nevils has served in a variety of capacities at the Health Center since 2000. She has served in clinical, emergency preparedness, communicable disease response and administrative capacities.

She received her LPN and ADN degrees from State Fair Community College and her Bachelor of Science in Nursing (BSN) from Central Missouri State University, now University of Central Missouri.

Ms. Nevils looks forward to moving the Health Center forward to meet the goal of providing the opportunity for all Pettis Counties residents to work, play and live as healthy people living in a healthy community.

The Health Center has many programs to help community members meet this goal including clinical services, community education, programs for safety for children, supporting the mental health of the community, WIC and environmental services. The Health Center has always worked to provide the best available information to assist community members in making informed decisions about their health and the health of their family.
