According to Pettis County EMA Director David Clippert, the EMA will have a check of the emergency sirens today at noon.  It's hard to believe we are coming off a major snow storm, and now we turn our attention to severe thunderstorms, but hey, that's Missouri weather. It won't be long before we are watching the radar for severe thunderstorms.

Our EMA and storm spotters are the best in the business, and should be congratulated on the great job they do on keeping us informed and keeping everyone safe.  Of course, our news department do their job as well informing all of you on where and when a storm might hit and what shelters are open and, of course, the damage done by said storms.  So it's not to early to get a plan together because spring is here.
