Pettis County Deputies Investigating Shots Fired

The Pettis County Sheriff's Office took a report of shots fired in the early morning hours of June 26.

According to an incident report, deputies responded to the 22000 block of Yeater Rd around 3:35 a.m. and made contact with a caller that said several shots had been fired at their residence while they were sleeping. The gunshots reportedly left several holes and damage to the property and on the inside of the residence.

An investigation into the incident is underway.
