A Greenfield woman was injured in a two-car collision that occurred Wednesday evening in Pettis County.

The Missouri State Highway Patrol reports that an eastbound 2003 Buick Le Sabre, driven by a 40-year-old woman from Greenfield, was on Route D, west of US Highway 65 just before 7:30 p.m., when the Buick began to slide and the driver overcorrected, sliding into the westbound lane, where it was struck by a westbound 1997 GMC Sierra, driven by a 56-year-old man from Sedalia.

The Greenfield woman suffered minor injuries and was transported to Bothwell Regional Health Center by PCAD. She and the other driver were not wearing a seat belt at the time of the crash, according to the report.
