A Pettis County ambulance struck a deer in the roadway Friday night, according to the Missouri State Highway Patrol.

PCAD was northbound on US 65 at Bothwell Park Road just after 10 p.m., when the Ford F-350 struck a deer.

Injured was a 56-year-old with moderate injuries. He was transported to Bothwell Regional Health Center by PCAD.

The ambulance had extensive damage and was towed by Don’s Truck Towing.
