A Higginsville woman was injured in a one-vehicle crash that occurred Tuesday afternoon in Pettis County.

According to the Missouri State Highway Patrol, 51-year-old Kimberly L. Brown of Higginsville, was on US 65 at Deer Park Road around 4:10 p.m., when the 2002 Mercedes C-Class she was driving traveled off the left side of the roadway, struck an embankment and became airborne before coming to rest on its top.

Brown suffered minor injuries and was transported by PCAD to University of Missouri Hospital in Columbia. The Mercedes had extensive damage and was towed by InMotion.
