An Oak Grove man was killed in a one-vehicle accident that occurred Sunday night in Jackson County.

The Missouri State Highway Patrol reports that an eastbound 2024 Ford F-150, driven by a 28-year-old man from Oak Grove, was on Reinck Road, east of Route H just after 11:30 a.m., when the truck left the roadway, and struck a sign and a tree.

 

The man, who was not wearing a seat belt at the time of the crash, according to the report, was pronounced dead at the scene at 12:20 a.m., by EMT Kym Friel.

The Ford was totaled and towed by Castor’s Towing.

 

Jackson County Deputies assisted the Troopers on scene.
