A Warrensburg woman was injured in a two-vehicle crash that occurred Tuesday afternoon in Jackson County.

The Missouri State Highway Patrol reports that a southbound 2016 Hyundai Sonata, driven by 56-year-old Anita D. Church of Warrensburg, was on Highway F, north of East Zumwalt Road just after 2 p.m., when the driver failed to negotiate a curve, and the vehicle crossed the center line and struck the driver's side of a northbound 2022 Kenworth T880, driven by 57-year-old Gene D. Hibner of Chillicothe.

Church suffered serious injuries and was transported to Research Medical Center by Lifeflight Air Ambulance.

The Kenworth had extensive damage, while the Sonata was totaled. Both were towed from the scene by Caster's Tow.
