Okay, wait.  Just... wait.

Okay, now this is just getting ridiculous.  You guys, I know you want a Target.  I like Target, too! Sometimes I'll go to the one in Columbia when we go to pick up the girls. Sometimes I'll order little bits online from Target.  But.  Come on, guys. I think we need to kinda let this one go, at least for now.

I just don't think this is really happening.  Detective Behka is on the case.  Let's consider the evidence.  The MO. The facts.

First of all, that's not the right font.  Second of all, the Target name is in all caps. This sign is not. Third of all, the Target name is never in black. It's always red or white.  Evidence:

Target is very well branded, and they literally pay someone a crap ton of money to make their image and logo right.  That means nothing slips through the cracks, and it's the same every time.  There's no way a real Target sign would look like the one on Limit.

And furthermore, it just doesn't seem likely to have a major department store with a big grocery section (admittedly bigger than K-Mart's was) right next door to a big grocery store.  It just doesn't make sense.  It's MADNESS.  Why would you do that?

Maybe someone is just trying to ~~manifest~~ it into happening. Maybe they have a Vision Board with nothing but Target logos on it.  But you'd think if they were that into it, they'd get the Full Look right.

NICE TRY, SEDALIA.  You didn't get that one past Detective Behka.  Maybe we will get a Target someday... I just don't see it happening in the old K-Mart building. Who has the time and motivation to make these signs? Are you really just trolling us all for the lulz? I saw they did it again on the other side of town.

Really?  Come on, now.  Who is doing this?! Don't play with my emotions, people.  Who has the time, the motivation, and the ability to print fake signs? Somehow, I must find out.

What do you think? Did you see the sign? Why do you think we want a Target so much?

Targetly yours,
