A new teaser for Season 6 of Nashville dropped on Thursday (Nov. 30), and fans can expect plenty of drama in the new episodes.

The show crams many short moments into the 30-second teaser, which shows a mix of romance and tears both sad and happy. New music may be on the way from both Will and Juliette, the latter of whom is back in the studio and is later seen screaming in anguish. Maddie looks to be in a compromising situation again when a guy in the recording studio makes a move on her that she immediately rejects. She later has to console a heartbroken Daphne for reasons unknown.

It also looks like someone's music career is taking off, with shots of Scarlett signing autographs and posing for photos with fans. Someone else is apparently injecting themselves with a needle — containing what, we'll have to find out when the new season premieres on Jan. 4.

Tribute to This 'Nashville' Star Is A-Maze-ing!

The show's producer's announced in November of 2017 that Season 6 of Nashville would be the show's last. The nighttime drama was canceled by its original network, ABC, after Season 4 ended in 2016 before it was revived by CMT later that year. Many of the cast shared their gratefulness for being a part of the show following the announcement that the show is ending.

"For almost 6 years, this city has given our show a loving home, a fascinating subject, a beautiful soundtrack, and the most gorgeous landscape to paint our stories on," Charles Esten expresses in a tweet.

"No words to express our love & gratitude for @Nashville CMT, our Nashville family & the wonderful #nashies who kept the show alive," Lennon and Maisy Stella write on Twitter.

Nashville's final season premieres on CMT on Thursday (Jan. 4) at 9PM ET.
