Man Arrested for Delivery of Controlled Substance After Foot Chase
An individual with an active arrest warrant was observed in the 1200 block of South Osage Avenue by Detectives with the Crime Resolution Unit on the afternoon of Jan. 12.
When detectives attempted to make contact with the individual, he fled on foot. The individual was arrested a short distance away. While the individual fled, he was observed discarding an item near a house.
The items were later recovered and found to be a controlled substance.
Michael Brandon Hicks, 27, homeless, was transported to the Pettis County Jail for an active arrest warrant out of Pettis County for Delivery of a Controlled Substance with a $25,000 cash or surety bond.
Additional charges of Possession of a Dangerous Drug, Tampering with Evidence and Resisting Arrest were being sought.
