Man Arrested After Sedalia Police Respond to Burglary in Progress
On Sunday at 2:55 p.m., a call was received by Joint Communications regarding a burglary in progress in the 200 block of E. 13th Street.
The reporting party said the suspect left the residence when he called law enforcement. The suspect was located by officers from the description the caller gave dispatch.
49-year-old Damon Lamont Lewis, homeless, was arrested and transported to the Pettis County Jail.

He now faces charges of possession of drug paraphernalia, 2nd degree burglary, 2nd degree trespassing, resisting arrest and possession of synthetic drugs.
