So Far Justin Timberlake Is Snubbing Missouri On World Tour
You're about to start hearing a lot about Justin Timberlake. However, you won't be able to see his world tour in Missouri, at least not yet.
Justin Timberlake's got a new song called "Selfish" out now, and a new album called "Everything I Thought It Was" due on March 13, 2024. He's also about to launch a world tour, but if you're from Missouri and want to see him, you'll have to travel.
He's heading out on his "The Forget Tomorrow World Tour" and the first 22 dates have been announced. JT's trek starts in Vancouver on April 29, and wraps up on July 9, in Lexington, Kentucky. Most of the dates, except for Lexington and a date at Hersheypark Stadium are in large markets.
He's playing Seattle, Las Vegas, three dates in California, three dates in Texas, Tulsa, Atlanta, Tampa, Miami and New York City. What's missing so far are any dates in Missouri. As of this writing, there isn't a show scheduled for either St. Louis or Kansas City.
If you live in West Central Missouri, the closest show for you to attend is the show at BOK Center in Tulsa on Thursday night, June 6. According to Google Maps Tulsa's about 4 1/2 - 5 hours from the Sedalia area.
Two other shows that are doable for those of us in West Central Missouri include his date at the United Center in Chicago on Friday, June 21. And his Lexington, Kentucky show at Rupp Arena on Tuesday, July 9. Both of these shows are a 7-8 eight-hour road trip from the Sedalia area.
Tickets for all three of these shows go on sale through Ticketmaster on Friday, February 2nd. The Chicago and Tulsa show go on sale at 10:00 AM CST, and the Lexington show goes on sale at 9:00 AM CST. Various presales start Monday, January 29 at 10:00 AM CST for Chicago and Tulsa, and 9:00 AM CST for the Lexington Show.
I have no insider information, however, JT is billing this as a world tour. I would suspect he's going to be out on the road for quite a while and it wouldn't surprise me to see St. Louis or Kansas City added on a different leg of the tour. Maybe next fall/winter, or even next summer.
