Jana Kramer is enjoying life to the fullest these days — especially in her career. This week, Kramer’s current single, ‘Why Ya Wanna,’ has been certified gold for digital downloads exceeding 500,000 copies sold. The tune is the latest release from Kramer’s self-titled debut album on Warner Music Nashville, which debuted at No. 5 the week after it hit stores.

‘Why Ya Wanna’ continues to climb up the Top 10 on the country singles charts, marking it as not only Kramer’s fastest-rising single, but for any debut artist in all of 2012 so far. The tune has also ranked as the highest-charting female debut since Taylor Swift‘’s 2006 single, ‘“Tim McGraw.”’

Over at Warner Music Nashville, we can only imagine that streamers are falling from the single. Kramer’s labelmate Hunter Hayes has scored a platinum single for his latest release, ‘Wanted,’ and Blake Shelton locks in the No. 1 slot on the country singles chart once again for the second straight week this week.
