I understand bad grades. Don't ask me how I know. It would appear that many Missouri hospitals understand that concept also as the state was just ranked among the worst in America for having medical facilities that are lacking.

There's a new state breakdown of hospitals just shared by Leapfrog Hospital Safety Grade which shows how Missouri compares to the rest of America. Spoiler Alert: prepare for bad news. On this map they just shared, the darker the state color, the better the safety rating. The lighter the color, the worse the hospitals are. Notice that Missouri is a very light shade of pale green.

Missouri ranks 40th in America for the state of their hospitals with barely over 17% receiving an A grade for patient safety for the latest survey just completed in the Fall of last year. The sad news is this is a slight improvement over Spring when Missouri barely had over 16% of hospitals with a safety grade of A.
