Huntin’ Harry’s Event Calendar: Go Catch Some Crappie

There's a lot going on this week, so let's get right to it!  First, the Crappie are biting in three to six feet of water on the flats, and 25 - 30 feet of water on channels and bluffs.  Make sure you've got your jig tip with minnow.  Daylight until about 10:00 a.m. is the best time to find them, but they seem to shut down after that.

Missouri State Championship Archery is happening this Saturday and Sunday for those shooters who have qualified in the past weeks.  The Show-Me Games are happening this weekend too, so good luck to the shooters out there.

The State Fair Archery Appreciation Shoot will be coming up soon, so be sure to tune in for the official dates.  There will be lots of prizes from local businesses, along with some great food.  It's going to be fun for the entire family!

MO Kids Outdoors will be organizing a "Field Day" in the near future, complete with archery, fishing and lots more.  Stay tuned for those dates as well, we'll be announcing them in a couple of weeks.
