Wow, what a week!  No temperatures in the 90s and lows in the 60s.  I can deal with this.  Let me tell you, with temps like that, everyone has been out and about.

Well, let's start with last Saturday.  KIX Night at the Races at Lucas Oil Speedway was awesome.  There were boat races, dirt track racing and the first Hickory County Fair in over 20 years.  For their first fair, it was great and had something for everyone.  I held my title as the champion on the go karts for the third year in a row.  We also had the KIX 105 Party Bus that brought about 50 listeners down to Wheatland.  Every year the promoter at Lucas Oil invites us to have people ride in the pace car and wave the starting flag for featured races.  It's the experience of a lifetime.

We also set up our archery game, and wow, there were a lot of kids shooting for the first time, as well as some adults.  I would say we had shooters from six years old to 80 years old.  It was awesome, we had medals for the kids and threw out Huntin' and Fishin' with Harry coozies, backpacks, decals and the crowd loved it.  The broadcast I did on KIX 105 brought me out of retirement, thanks for all of the great comments.  We ended the night with fireworks, which was an awesome show as always.

Lucas Oil Speedway pulled out all of the stops, and I can't wait until next time.  Make sure you come see us on July 13 at DQ for Christmas in July.  It will be snowing, I guarantee it.  See ya then!
