Horace Mann Students Learn About Pumpkins
Last week, students in Horace Mann teacher Danielle Gerke's class learned all about pumpkins.
They studied a pumpkin inside and out, learned about its lifecycle, and stuck their hands inside one to pull out seeds.
The students used their new knowledge to help them compare and contrast a pumpkin to an apple.
They even used a pumpkin poem to help us learn ordinal numbers, which is a focus for math.
