Hit & Run Driver Apprehended by Sedalia Police

On Thursday morning, Sedalia Police responded to 32nd & Grand for a motor vehicle accident.

The male driver of one of the vehicles fled the scene on foot. An officer located and arrested the suspect, who was then transported to the Pettis County Jail for a 24-hour hold.

29-year-old Juan Samuel Figuero Hernandez of Sedalia now faces charges of leaving the scene of an accident, operating a motor vehicle on the highway without a valid license, displaying the plates of another person and failure to obey a stop sign.
