Haymaker Punch Leads to Brawl Among Fans During Sunday’s Game
It's taken a day or so. After all the Chiefs lost the game, and Head Coach Andy Reid felt ill after the game and wound up in the hospital. So it can be forgiven that Chiefs fans and the local media didn't pick up on the brawl that took place at Arrowhead Stadium sometime before or during the game.
Fight night. 😳 #fight #CHIEFS

As you can see once the haymaker is thrown more fans get into the act. I get it. The Chiefs are off to a rough start. It was a hot Sunday afternoon at the stadium. Yet, come on, it wasn't like there was trash-talking or taunting between a Chiefs and Charger fan. It was all Chiefs fans.
And boy does Chiefs Kingdom look bad to sports fans around the Country. Yet, the more I think about it. It's not just Chiefs fans on a hot day at Arrowhead either. It seems to be the general mood of many people as the pandemic drags on and we seem to be a polarized country. There are the well-lubricated cranky travelers harassing flight attendants. People abusing waitstaff at restaurants. Not knowing who might harass you for wearing, or not wearing, a mask. It just goes on and on.
So how 'bout we apply a bit of advice given by Bill S. Preston, Esq. in the film "Bill and Ted's Excellent Adventure". "Be excellent to each other." That's it. It sounds pretty simple, but try to put it into practice. It can be challenging. But wouldn't it be wonderful if we all tried to live up to the statement? Our world, or at least the part of it we inhabit, might just be a much happier place.
