Green Ridge Man Injured When Jeep Strikes Tree

A Green Ridge man was injured in a one-vehicle accident that occurred Monday in Henry County.

The Missouri State Highway Patrol reports that an eastbound 1995 Jeep Cherokee, driven by 19-year-old Jonathan D. Parkhurst of Green Ridge, was on Route C, east of NE 1201 Road at 5:36 p.m., when the Jeep traveled off the road and struck a tree.

Parkhurst suffered minor injuries, and was transported by private vehicle to Golden Valley Medical Center for treatment.

The Jeep was totaled and towed by InMotion.

Benton County Deputies assisted the Patrol.
