George Strait has shared the title track of his upcoming new album, Honky Tonk Time Machine, and the song is a tribute to the good ol' days of country music and fans that spend their hard-earned dollars dancing to country tunes in beer joints and honky tonks. Press play above to the new song.

The up-tempo track tells the story of the country music fans who celebrate their pay days two-stepping to old-school country hits, letting the songs take them back to simpler times. "And it's off like a rocket in a neon haze / Spinnin' 'em back to the good ol' days / Beer gets to flowin' and the whiskey pours / There ain't an empty spot on the old dance floor," Strait sings in the chorus. "All cowboy hats, boots and jeans / Ridin' that honky tonk time machine."

The song follows "Every Little Honky Tonk Bar," and echoes that track's commitment to traditional country and thematic trend toward dialing back the clock and reveling in country music's golden days of juking and having fun on the dance floor.

Strait released "Every Little Honky Tonk Bar" in February as the new album's official first single. The song marked the first official new music from the iconic country singer since 2015's Cold Beer Conversation; he also released a greatest hits collection, Strait Out of the Box: Part 2, in 2016.

Honky Tonk Time Machine is due for release on March 29. It will feature 13 tracks: 12 originals, many of which were co-written by Strait, and a cover of Johnny Paycheck's "Old Violin." The album is available for pre-order now.
