Eric Church Recording Live Album on Tour
Even though Eric Church recently said he would be stepping away from the spotlight in the new year, he’ll still be on the radar. As a way to thank his loyal followers for hundreds of sold-out concerts, Church will be releasing his very first live album in the beginning of 2013.
The ‘Springsteen’ hitmaker will be recording the new CD during his upcoming shows at the Tivoli Theatre in Ctagganooga, Tenn. on Oct. 8 and 9. The concerts are a part of the fall leg of his Blood, Sweat and Beers Tour.
To include his fans in the adventure, Church is asking that they share with him the moment that his music first grabbed their attention in a new ‘Captured’ video contest. Fans are being asked to submit videos which visually demonstrate Church how his music has impacted their lives — and why. The clips must be submitted by Sept. 12 through the singer’s official website. Church will announce his Top 10 personal favorite videos on Sept. 17 before the polls open to fans for the final vote.
The grand prize winner will be announced Sept. 26, and the winner will walk away with two tickets to the live album recording, as well as a hotel stay and a VIP prize package, which includes a meet and greet with Church.
The fall portion of Church’s Blood, Sweat and Beers Tour will kick off on Sept. 13, and will feature special guests Kip Moore and Justin Moore.
