Enjoy Sunday Brunch on Pine Street in Warrensburg
One of the must-experience restaurants on Pine Street in Warrensburg is now serving Sunday Brunch and it sounds delicious.
There's no shortage of places to get breakfast in Warrensburg. There's iHop off Highway 50 on Maguire. As well as Country Kitchen, which offers a breakfast buffet. And there's Mary Janes Cafe, which is known as the place to get breakfast for those who live in town.
On Sundays however, you can now enjoy brunch with Heroes Restaurant and Pub on Pine Street. According to the restaurant's brunch menu, which they posted on their Facebook page, they're offering seven modest brunch options and several brunch-appropriate cocktails. There seems to be something for everyone on the menu, including me a fairly fickle eater who isn't a fan of eggs. (I really wish I liked eggs, it would make breakfast a lot easier for me. Just to be clear, I'm fine with eggs in stuff. I even like french toast, I just don't like eggs as food. Yet, that's a story for another day.)
Heroes brunch menu includes Breakfast Poutine, which includes their legendary cheese fries topped with sausage gravy and two over easy eggs. Breakfast a la Burg which comes with two eggs, homestyle potatoes, bacon or sausage, and wheat toast. Plus, the menu item I want to try, Chicken and Waffles, Belgian Waffles, and chicken strips drizzled with maple syrup and hot honey. I'll add some bacon to that and I'm good to go.
On the cocktail side, the restaurant is offering a variety of Bloody Marys, a bottomless mimosas option for $18.00, and even Long Island Iced Coffee. I didn't see the Unknown Hero on the drink menu, but I think that would pair just as nicely with the chicken and waffles as a mimosa.
Heroes Restaurant and Pub is located at 107 W. Pine Street in Warrensburg, and they're offering brunch Sundays from 10:00 AM - 3:00 PM.
