Edmiston Named Central Bank of Sedalia’s Unsung Hero
Well, it's time again for another round of recognizing the good in our area with our Unsung Hero.
This month's hero is a champion for animals in need - Lora Edmiston! Lora is a super busy lady, who runs Pawsibilities Are Endless, a cat rescue in Windsor. Here's what her nominator, Sue, had to say as to why she should get the honor:
This woman is a miracle worker in the cat rescue world! She has so many programs going to help kitties. She is always helping place abandoned and hurt kitties. She always finds resources to help those in need. Not to mention helping run the TNR program in several counties. This woman is an angel in the community.
She works to get volunteers to foster animals - not just cats, but dogs, too. Sure, they have about fifty cats right now, but there's often animals that shelters just can't take. And they also need help with the Trap, Neuter, Return program. You can listen to her interview with Randy and learn all about the good work she and her team does here.
Of course, you can always reach out to Lora and her team on social media on their Facebook page, and you can text Lora if you want to help with anything. From fostering to the TNR program, to transport with getting animals to other shelters, etc etc, they always have a need of your help. Even if it's just something small that will only take maybe an afternoon on your weekend, there's always something you can do.
Do you know somebody like Lora who is always helping out here in West Central Missouri? You should nominate them to be our next Unsung Hero here! It only takes a minute or two, it's free, and the good vibes will really carry you through the holiday season.
Nominatingly yours,
Behka
