Demolition Derby Coming to JoCo Fairgrounds September 16

Bodies On Pine presents “Mayhem and Destruction,” a demolition derby, at the Johnson County Fairgrounds on Saturday, Sept. 16.

Gates open at 4 p.m., at 386 NW 145 Road (west of Warrensburg on US Highway 50), with Kansas City Band “Bound and Determined” performing live on stage from 4 to 6 p.m.

The demolition derby starts at 7. Pit gates open at noon and inspection takes from 12 to 5 p.m. Entry fee is $40 and a pit pass is $20. Admission is $15 for adults and $10 for ages 7-11. Free for those 6 and under.

There's a $2300 purse in the Super Stock class, $1500 purse for Bone Stock, and $1200 purse for Compacts. There will also be trophies and a $200 “Mad Dog” prize up for grabs in each class.

No outside coolers will be allowed at the event. There will be food and vendors on site.
