For those needing to obtain or renew a private pesticide applicator license, training session dates and locations have been set through the University of Missouri Extension.

For those getting ready to handle pesticides in 2018, these classes also complete the EPA worker protection training program for agricutlural employees who handle pesticides.

This class does not complete the requirement for either commercial applicators or applicators using synthetic auxin (Dicamba) herbicides.

The programs offered by the the University of Missouri Extension are open to everyone but only individuals only 18 and older may receive a license. Classes will last approximately 2 hours and are scheduled as follows in neighboring counties:

Feb 5 @ 2 p.m. - Johnson County Extension Center, 135 W. Market St., Warrensburg

Feb 5 @ 6 p.m. - Johnson County Extension Center, 135 W. Market St., Warrensburg

Feb 12 @ 2 p.m. - Benton County Ambulance District Building, 1206 Medic Dr., Warsaw

Feb 12 @ 6 p.m. - Benton County Ambulance District Building, 1206 Medic Dr., Warsaw

March 1 @ 2 p.m. - Henry County, location to be determined

March 1 @ 6 p.m. - Henry County, location to be determined
