Dare You to Stay at Adults-Only Missouri Inn with ‘Kissing Point’
If you're in the mood for love and/or some time away from the kids, there's a place in Missouri that might fit your mood. It's adult-only and features a trail that leads to a "Kissing Point" and no, I'm not making that up.
The Inn on Crescent Lake in Excelsior Springs, Missouri is often mentioned as one of it not the most romantic places for a getaway. A few weeks ago, I saw Only In Your State mention that this is not a place for children and that's intentional. It's meant for couples and it sure does look like it could inspire love feelings.
The Inn on Crescent Lake shared a virtual walk on their trail which leads to this interesting sign that points to a "Kissing Point". Do tell us more.
So what is a kissing point? As a person with absolutely no sentimental side, I have no clue, but I bet it has something to do with this hammock.
Don't take my word for it. Check out a short but sweet video for yourself of this special Missouri place.
I checked the inn's official website and the restriction on children is real. Here's the word direct from their policy page:
Children – For safety reasons and for the comfort of our guests, only children age 16 or older can be accommodated. Well-behaved and supervised children are allowed only at events where there exclusive use of the Inn has been booked (such as weddings, family reunions, etc.).
There you have it. An adult-only getaway option in Missouri. Just be careful around that "Kissing Point".
