A Clinton man was injured in a one-vehicle crash that occurred early Tuesday morning in Henry County.

The Missouri State Highway Patrol reports that an eastbound 2018 Toyota Corolla, driven by 20-year-old Eric W. Lee of Clinton, was on Missouri 52, west of Calhoun around 3:15 a.m., when Lee swerved to avoid striking a deer and traveled off the right side of the roadway, struck a utility pole and a fence.

Lee suffered minor injuries and was transported by Golden Valley EMS to Golden Valley Memorial Hospital for treatment.

The Toyota had extensive damage and was towed from the scene.

Henry County Deputies assisted the Patrol.
