Clinton Man Arrested in Connection to Shooting
Henry County authorities recently arrested a 20-year old Clinton man in connection to a shooting incident that occurred late last month.
The Henry County Sheriff's Department says 20-year old Bryan Sharp was taken into custody and charged with 1st Degree Assault and Aiding/Abetting a Person for Shooting a Firearm at a Motor Vehicle. Sharp also had warrants for Receiving Stolen Property and Probation Violation on original charge of Possession of a Controlled Substance.
He had been wanted by the Sheriff's Office for questioning in the January 29 shooting that occurred near Hwy 52 and Vansant Road in which several shots were fired from a moving vehicle at another moving vehicle. The victims in the case were able to identify the shooter and the driver of the other vehicle.
The other suspect, 22-year old Tylor Turner, of Clinton, was previously arrested and charged with 1st Degree Assault, Armed Criminal Action and Unlawful Use of a Weapon.
