The United States Postal Service (USPS), UPS and Fed-Ex has the recommended send-by dates for expected delivery before December 25.

USPS Christmas shipping deadlines (within the U.S.):

  • Dec. 19 (Thu) – Deadline for First Class Mail and Priority Mail shipments. Includes greeting cards
  • Dec. 22 (Sun) – Deadline for Priority Express Mail shipments
The Shipping deadline for UPS (within the U.S.) is as follows:
  • UPS 3 day select - 18 December
  • UPS 2nd Day Air - 20 December
  • UPS 2nd Day Air - 21 December
  • UPS Next Day Air - 22 December
  • UPS Express Critical - 24 December and 25 December

For Fed Ex, the here's the shipping deadline (within the U.S.):

  • FedEx SmartPost - 11 December
  • FedEx Ground - 15 December
  • FedEx Home Delivery - 18 December
  • FedEx Express Saver - 19 December
  • FedEx 2day - 20 December
  • FedEx 2day AM - 20 December
  • FedEx Standard Overnight - 21 December
  • FedEx Priority Overnight - 21 December
  • FedEx Priority Overnight - 21 December
