Check out this historic restored 130-year-old home in Sedalia close to the Missouri State Fair, our historic district, and The Kay Trail. This four-bedroom home sleeps up to 11 people in seven beds. It might just be the place to book if you have lots of out-of-town family coming for a visit. Or you're holding a family reunion.

The home is just over 3600 square feet, and from the home's entrance with great woodwork and cathedral-style windows, there are plenty of areas where you can sit and relax and visit with friends and family.

This might be a cool place for two or three families to share while visiting the Missouri State Fair. Or a good place for extended members of a family to call home if everyone is returning to Sedalia for a family reunion. If your family reunion is small enough, maybe ten or eleven people, you might be able to hold the actual reunion at the home and on the home's outdoor deck.

As for sleeping arrangements the bedrooms break down like this: There are two guest rooms, one with a king-sized bed and one with a queen-sized bed. There's a kids' bedroom with two single twin beds and one double bed. Then there's the master bedroom with a king-sized bed and a single bed and a fireplace.

Here's what House Sedalia says is unique about their home, and what I think is one of the big selling points of booking it:

Sitting rooms in the Master bedroom, as well as the main level, allow you to have your own personal space, even if staying with friends or family. If you prefer, you can relax out back on the deck and enjoy the koi fish. You're conveniently located to the Historic District with restaurants like the Ivory Grille or maybe a cold beer at the Craft Beer Cellar. You can bike the Katy Trail and are only minutes away from the Missouri State Fairgrounds.

The home comes with plenty of the essentials you'd expect to be provided and even some things you wouldn't expect like a private chef and a housekeeper.

This home is hosted by House Sedalia and available for booking on Vrbo. The hosts have ties to our community and occasionally use the home when they're in town with their children visiting family and friends. In addition to being listed on Vrbo, the home is also available for booking on Airbnb.
