With two tee times, a $25,000 hole-in-one prize, the 10th annual Putting “Fore” The Kids golf tournament is sure to be a great time for golfers of all abilities.

The tournament is set for June 12 at the Sedalia Country Club and will raise funds for Boys & Girls Clubs of West Central Missouri.

“We’re very excited for all the new and fun things we have planned this year,” said Assistant Director of Development Gabby White. “Last year we maxed out the number of teams we had so we knew this year we wanted to expand to two tee times to give our supporters more opportunities to play.”

The three-person scramble will include shotgun starts at 8 a.m. or 1:30 p.m. with lunch served at 11:30 p.m. for all players. In addition to on-course games, golfers will have a chance for a $25,000 prize if they make a hole-in-one on Hole 10.

“Something new this year is our raffle for an overnight stay, two rounds of golf and dinner all at Prairie Band Casino and Resort, which is just north of Topeka,” White said. “Tickets are available to purchase now and at the tournament and the winner does not need to be present to win.”

Those interested in registering a team can call the Boys & Girls Club Admin Office at (660) 826-8331 or go to www.bgckids.com.
