Bothwell Regional Health Center will offer the one-dose Johnson & Johnson/Janssen (J&J) COVID-19 vaccine from 9 a.m. to 10 a.m. Friday, April 30 at the Bothwell Healing Arts Center.

The move comes after the Missouri Department of Health and Senior Services resumed the use of the J&J vaccine. This decision was made following the announcement by the Food and Drug Administration (FDA) and the Centers for Disease Control and Prevention (CDC) that it has studied and confirmed that the pause on its use can be lifted. It was concluded that the known and potential benefits of the J&J vaccine outweigh its known and potential risks.

Bothwell’s vaccine clinic is located on the second floor of the Bothwell Healing Arts Center at 3700 W. 10th Street in Sedalia. People may walk in or call (660) 829-8822 to make an appointment.

Bothwell is also administering the two-dose Pfizer vaccine from 10 a.m. to noon April 30 in the Healing Arts Center by walk in or appointment.
