Looking for a Magical Christmas Town? Missouri Has 1 of the Best
Some families like to stay in for the holidays, but for those who like to try something new, there is one Missouri town that is the best for Christmas.
Don't get me wrong, I LOVE staying home with the family and enjoying all the wonderful times together. But we also like to visit places that have different Christmas displays and activities that there are too do. Country Living ranked the top 30 Towns in the Nation to do just that and Branson made the list.
It's no surprise, Branson is just one of those towns that have so much all year long, but when it comes to Christmas the town pulls off an enchanting, magical Christmas display.
Each year, this Missouri city hosts the Ozark Mountain Christmas festival, a month-long extravaganza with festive music, light shows, and plenty of parades. You can even hop aboard the Branson Scenic Railway's Polar Express Train Ride and feel like you're in a scene from the classic movie. Don't forget the hot chocolate!
Silver Dollar City (the best theme park in Missouri) even takes the park and turns it into Santa's Village will missions or lights and trails to walk through. The town goes all out making it the most magical place to visit during the holidays. I have yet to experience this myself, but as much as I love Christmas it's on my bucket list to visit.
