Airstream Enthusiasts Unite: The 67th Annual International Rally (And How You Can Play Too)
One thing I'm sure you guys know about me is that my Dad and I are pretty close. He's the best. Anyway, one thing he used to tell us a lot when we were kids was that he wanted to go buy a old Airstream trailer and just take off one day across the country. Well, that didn't happen due to a number of reasons. Family got sick, people got divorced, people got new jobs, blah blah blah. Life happens, you know? Doesn't hurt that these things are a tad pricey. I mean, I get you're paying for quality, you're paying for the Airstream name, but dang. $60k for the little one is just too rich for my blood right now. Maybe someday?
Well, some people are in that place in their lives. After a life of hard work, a lot of retirees tend to hit the road and get out there to have some fun. And they're coming here to Sedalia in October. Check it out!
Seriously, these people know how to party. When they get here, they're going to basically take over the Fairgrounds. They'll have a craft market, pet show, photo contests, quilting, a golf scramble, a hobby show, JAM SESSIONS, a Bridgerton Tea Party, it's insane.
Now unfortunately a lot of that is just for the 67th Annual International Airstream Club Rally, so it's limited to them and their members/guests. They paid for it after all, it's their party. BUT. There is a way for you to have some fun with them while they're here on the Sedalia Main Streets!
Join us for the last of our 2024 First Thursdays on October 3, 2024! Downtown Sedalia will be decorated with scarecrows and the Freedom Alley will be temporarily named "Tin Can Alley". Plus, we'll be able to welcome participants in the Airstream Club International Rally
