According to Merriam-Webster, a palace is defined as the official residence of a chief of state, or a large stately house, public building, or a highly decorated place for public amusement or refreshment.  Well Missouri happens to have a palace, and it is a one of a kind place.  Are you familiar with the Butterfly Palace & Rainforest in Branson? Now obviously the butterflies are the big draw here, but the rainforest needs to get a little love too.  If any of your kids (or yourself) like reptiles or amphibians there will be many to see, and perhaps touch.  Over 25 of them.

Now seeing all of the cool butterflies and various creatures is neat, but how about learning about them.  The Butterfly Palace offers a 3D film in their Rainforest Theater that is also something you should take advantage of.

So if all of that still doesn't stimulate your kids, maybe they would like the Banyan Tree Adventure or the Emerald Forest Mirror Maze.  That should tire them out a bit.  :)
