You're invited to a free preview screening of "Country Music" a film by Ken Burns at the  Hayden Liberty Center this evening. Doors open at 6:00PM CDT and Clay Clear of Dirt Road Addiction will be playing before the screening starts at 7:00PM CDT. The Liberty Center will also be offering beer, wine, soft drinks and pop corn for sale.

"Country Music" is a new documentary from filmmaker Ken Burns. Burns is known for his historical documentaries like "The Civil War", "Baseball" and "Jazz". "Country Music" is an eight part documentary that will air on KMOS-TV that explores country music from it's tangled roots in "ballads, blues and hymns" to it's "worldwide popularity." The film promises "never-before-seen footage and photographs, plus interviews with more than 80 country music artists."

The eight part documentary will premiere on KMOS-TV on Sunday Night September 15 at 7:00PM CDT but you can see a preview of the film tonight at the Liberty Center. The preview runs about :45 minutes. We hope to see you there! Here's a quick preview to wet your appetite!
