Up, Up, and Away!

Growing up in Albuquerque, New Mexico in the early 70′s, I was lucky to see the beginnings of a great event that has grown over the years.  From a small gathering of 13 balloons in 1972, the 2014 Albuquerque International Balloon Festival (AIBF) continues October 4th  through the 12th.  The AIBF has announced that country hit-maker Josh Turner will headline the 2014 Music Fiesta on Saturday, October 11th.  Joining Turner for the concert will be another Grammy award nominee, David Nail and County Road 5.  If you’re looking for a road trip destination this fall, check out this great Southwest event.
