The University of Central Missouri College of Arts, Humanities, and Social Sciences and the UCM Department of Music will host the annual UCM Valentine’s Dance at 6:30 p.m. Saturday, Feb. 14, in the Elliott Student Union ballroom.  Tickets are available online at ucmpas.com and at the Central Tickets Box Office, in the Administration Building, Room 100B, Monday, Wednesday and Friday from 1-4 pm, or by calling 660-543-8888.

Laurel Hogue, director of Extended Studies at the University of Central Missouri, is serving a one year term as president of the North American Association of Summer Sessions. She was elected in 2013 as president-elect and assumed the presidency in November 2014 at the annual conference held in Chattanooga, Tenn.  Hogue has been actively engaged in both NAASS and the North Central Conference on Summer Sessions since 2003, presenting and facilitating sessions for both groups.

The Central Missouri Jennies bowling team will host a free youth clinic this Sunday, February 8 at the UCM Elliott Union Bowling Center. The clinic is open to children ages five years old up to 12th grade.  The clinic for children ages five years through fourth grade will run from noon to 1:30 p.m. with children from fifth grade through 12th grade going from 1:45-3:00 p.m. The clinic will feature drills and instruction from members of the UCM women's and mens' bowling programs.

The Mules basketball team is back in action on Thursday night when they wrap up their three-game road trip at Southwest Baptist. Tip-off in Bolivar is set for 7:30 p.m.   The Jennies will start things off with a 5:30 start.
