The 'First Saturday' lecture series will continue March 3 at Arrow Rock State Historic Site.

The lecture titled "The Fenwicks of Arrow Rock, 1835-Present: My Ancestry, Racial Identity and Patriotism" is the next installment in the state historic site’s First Saturday Lecture series.

The Missouri Department of Natural Resources says the presentation provides a personalized look into the experiences of a pioneer family who were early settlers in Arrow Rock and whose descendants still live there today.

The lecture begins at 10:00 a.m. and is free to attend. Refreshments will be provided.

Dr. Michael Kateman will present the lecture on March 3. Kateman was raised in the Arrow Rock area and is a member of the Arrow Rock Lyceum Theatre board of directors.

Arrow Rock State Historic Site is located at 39521 Visitor Center Drive. For more information, call 660-837-3330 or visit mostateparks.com.
