Four State Fair Community College Roadrunners have earned All-Conference recognition for the 2012-1013 basketball season in voting by Midwest Community College Athletic Conference coaches. McDonald's Classic Results in Great Start For Roadrunners' Basketball

The 2012-2013 basketball season got under way this past weekend at State Fair Community College during the McDonald's Classic.The Lady Roadrunners played two tough teams to start the season off. They defeated Vincennes Community College 74-50 and beat Kaskaskia 63-57 on Saturday night. The ladies return back at home Wednesday night at 6 p.m. against Lincoln Trails.

It's hard to believe I will be starting my 27th year of being associated with State Fair Basketball, most of those years as the play-by-play guy, a few years as the PA announcer but always a fan. I have seen some great players come through those blue doors and have a ton of great memories. I am looking forward to a great season for both teams and it all gets started November 2 and 3 with the McDonald's Classic.
