Breakfast

Everyone around here is probably well aware that today is a very important day.  Veterans Day isn't something that a lot of us can take lightly.  We have brothers, sisters, fathers, mothers, cousins, aunts, uncles, grandmothers, grandfathers, and friends who have served in one way or another or are still serving today.  So I think a lot of us are just looking for different ways to say thank you. R

The Sedalia Kiwanis are always working to do everything they can for our kids and others in need. They're working to stay busy and get busier, recruiting volunteers and fundraising left and right.  They're doing some great stuff coming up this weekend, and next weekend, to that purpose!

Awhile back, I had some guests in to talk about the upcoming Les Webb Memorial Breakfast.  It was held this past Saturday at the Shriner's Club.

One of the best-loved and well-known local charities here in our area are the Sedalia Shriners Club.  You see them pretty much everywhere kids are, everything from parades to dances to anything else in between.  The Shriners are also known for getting some good food on your plate!

It appears that while McDonald’s was busy dominating the fast food world they figured out a way to make themselves an even stronger entity in the quick service food industry.

One of the biggest issues during the summer months is whether or not to cook inside.  I grill most of my dinners because turning on the oven will heat up the entire house.  And in the morning, time becomes as much a factor as the heat.
