Three days, over a dozen of country music's top artists and 23,000 screaming country music fans helped make the first-ever Taste of Country Music Festival an undeniable success. Headliners Willie Nelson, Trace Adkins and Lady Antebellum led the way in 2013, but the fans were every bit as important to the party as the music.

Jason Aldean opened the 2013 CMT Music Awards with a blistering hot performance alongside rocker Lenny Kravitz. The two may have never performed live together before, but their version of 'American Woman' showed no flaws. Kravitz shredded while Aldean took his turn at the classic song's verse and chorus. It was the beginning to a eclectic night of live music.
Florida Georgia Line are the big winners so far at the 2013 CMT Music Awards. Their video for 'Cruise' picked up the night's first award for Breakthrough Video of the Year and later won Duo Video of the Year. Miranda Lambert is another two-time winner at this year's CMT Awards.

Four concerts were announced by Missouri State Fair Director Mark Wolfe, completing the series of eight concerts for this year’s State Fair, to be held Aug. 8-18 in Sedalia. Added to the line-up will be the concerts Foreigner and Starship featuring Mickey Thomas Aug. 9, Chubby Checker Aug. 13, Lee Brice and Tyler Farr Aug.15, and rockers Three Days Grace and Hinder Aug. 17. Tickets will be available June 17 through Ticketmaster.com.
