An officer on patrol arrested a Sedalia woman in the 1400 block of E. 10th Street around 2:30 a.m. on June 4 after reportedly discovering methamphetamine and drug paraphernalia.

Sedalia Police say the officer observed three people walking in the roadway and made contact with them. Two of the suspects had walked behind a tree, where the officer found a black eye glass case and purse, containing syringes and two clear bags containing crystal meth.

Police say 33-year-old Lesley Marie Kimbrell said the items belonged to her. She was arrested and taken to the Pettis County Jail.
