The Sedalia Rotary Club will host their 43rd Annual Charity Auction on Friday, April 27.

The auction will take place at Best Western in Sedalia, with the doors opening at 5:30 p.m.

A silent auction will begin at 6:00, with a live auction at 7:00 p.m. Hors D'oeuvres and drinks will be provided with ticket price. Dick Hutchinson will serve as auctioneer for the evening. The event will end at approximately 8:30 p.m.

Tickets are $10.00 and can be purchased from any Rotarian and at the door. Dr. Register said participants can also stop by his office at Sacred Heart School to purchase tickets.

According to project chairperson, Dr. Mark Register, some of the proceeds will benefit local charity programs, such as the Community Cafe, CACTUS school supply, The Embassy which provides residence for men and women, Waters for Grace in Pettis County, and also international efforts to help eradicate Polio with the World Heath Organization.

Register said the goal for the evening is to raise $20,000.

The Sedalia Rotary Club also provides assistance to the Food Bank and the Buddy Pack program, according to Dr. Register.

Rick Ball Ford-Lincoln has donated a pre-owned 2006 Pontiac Grand Prix for participants to bid on.

Some of the other items on the bill of sale for the auction include Kansas City Royals tickets, St. Louis Cardinals tickets, and Mizzou tickets.

In addition, the Rotary will be giving away a $250 cash door prize at the end of the auction from those who attend.
