Sedalia Police Reports for August 10, 2023

Early Monday morning, Officers responded to the Phillips 66 store*, 216 West Broadway Boulevard, for a report of a trespassing subject. Officers arrived on scene and determined the subject was trespassing. Richard Emmanuell Shull, 38, Homeless, was arrested for Trespassing. Shull was released from the scene with a summons.

Wednesday evening, Officers were dispatched to a domestic disturbance in the 600 block of North Quincy Avenue. After an investigation, no primary physical aggressor was determined. Information on both parties was collected, and a 12-hour report was completed.

Sedalia Police responded to the 700 block of East Broadway Boulevard for a report concerning a wanted subject in the area. Upon arrival, Officers made contact and arrested the wanted subject. Jeremiah N. Jones, 43, of Sedalia, was arrested. Jones had a combined bond of $160 cash on two Pettis County Failure to Appear warrants on original charges of Stealing and Trespassing. Jones also had a warrant from Probation and Parole with no bond. Jones was transported to the Pettis County Jail.

On the afternoon of August 9th, Officers responded to the Lamy’s building in the 100 block of West Pacific Avenue in reference to a suspected controlled substance located in the building. The substance was identified as methamphetamine. The substance was placed into evidence for destruction.

Sunday afternoon, Officers were dispatched to the Panera Bread store, 3175 West Broadway Boulevard, in reference to a private property crash involving a black in color 2000 Ford F150 and a gas line. A passenger in the Ford reported minor injury. The Ford had damage to the left front and the undercarriage. The Ford was towed from the scene. The driver reported the vehicle’s brakes did not work and could not stop the vehicle. The business reported damage to landscaping, and an exterior wall. Liberty Gas reported damage to the meter and the gas line.

*In the narrative of the report, the business is referred to by the Officer as “Prime Time”. Management have asked the press to refer to the business as “Phillips 66”.
